Konami's New Nintendo Games @ E3 2008: Time Hollow

The Lowdown: Time Hollow is an original adventure game, the brainchild of Suikoden writer Junko Kawano. With his mystical "Hollow Pen" that lets him change the past, Ethan Kairos must unravel the mystery of his family's sudden disappearance. Players must use the Hollow Pen to unravel the secret of Time Hollow, a story-driven adventure interspersed with anime sequences produced by studio AIC.

The Hype: The DS is a good system for adventure games, and the Hollow Pen is a great mechanic. If the story is worth finishing, then Time Hollow should be a great game.

The Snark: Nothing to snark about, really, in part because the Konami demo put you in the middle of the game and made things kind of incomprehensible.
