The Lowdown: Ninjatown is a cute, funny, and kid-friendly RTS based on the Shawnimals line of Ninjatown plush collectibles. Use the individual powers and skills of each ninja to defeat the minions of Mr. Demon across nine districts and thirty-five maps of Ninjatown. Support your ninjas with smart building and careful planning, and you won't lose one adorable warrior.
The Hype: The DS is a great system for RTS, and Ninjatown is developed closely with input from its creator Shawn Smith, a former EGM editor and, presumably, a guy who knows the wages of shovelware are critical death.
The Snark: Possibly less cute and far more expensive than an actual Ninjatown plush.
Some adorable screens and art wait for you after the cut.

That's the cutest ninja I've ever seen.
ALINKS OMITTED
They are such angry tiny ninjas. So bemused, to see demons in their town.
Mr. Demon seems upset about being so adorable, too.
By the way, I don't know if it was listed in the fact sheet but apparently the demons are evil because they have come to steal the Ninjas' sugar. Sugar is currency in Ninja Town, so you spend cookies to buy upgrades and their stock exchange building is called the Syrup Exchange.
So they are basically like dream-logic ninjas. Adorable ones.
Everything about this game is awesome.
