New Mega Man 9 Trailer Out, Confirms PSN/XBLA Release?

New Mega Man 9 trailer. It is rad and you shall watch. You shall also notice that the game once again appears to be available for PSN and XBLA, which suggests somebody at IGN paid for an exclusive that got leaked far earlier than they'd like, doesn't it?

This trailer features a lot more gameplay than the earlier, lousier trailer I linked in the E3 article, and confirms my fondest hopes: that I shall fall on spikes, or perhaps into a pit, repeatedly. I seriously want this game to kill me with an eagerness that I admit is somewhat unhealthy.

Those are some lovely pixel graphics.

 

I want this game to kick my ass all about the place.

 

I love how that it manages to perfectly capture the look and feel of the classic series and yet, if you really watch some of the sequences, like the short bit with the swinging puzzles and how some of the stuff moves, they are taking advantage that it's only emulating 8-Bit and does have more actual horsepower to work with.

 

I do like the new ground they are taking with those 8-bit graphics. I'll probably suck at this Mega Man too. XD
