XSEED to Publish Korg DS-10 in North America

From the unlikely source of James "Milkman" Mielke's 1up editor's blog comes the exciting confirmation that XSEED will be the North American publisher for the Korg DS-10 synthesizer software. The game is likely to hit around October, and probably won't be an Amazon exclusive as it is in Japan. Milkman also announces a frankly amazing project we'll be keeping an eye on:

Four Nintendo DSes can be linked together, in the way that professional MIDI keyboards can be linked up. That's amazing. It's so amazing in fact that I'll get back to my original point behind this blog, and that's to reveal that I'm going to compose an entire album using precisely four linked Nintendo DSes (and of course, four copies of Korg DS-10) and a Micro KORG (since the Micro KORG has a built-in vocoder for some hot robot vocals). Sure, lots of folks have done plenty with even lesser gear, going so far as to disassemble classic gaming machines to create chip-tuned music. I just want to see what I can do with the DS-10, and have already begun to set up a corner of my home for the project.
