Oh snap, it's time for the promised Gold Box Deals! Let's see what our first entry is, shall we?

12:01 PST: The first deal is Advance Wars: Days of Ruin for $16.99. The only excuse you have for not taking advantage of this is already owning the game or hating fun. If you can combine it with something else you get free shipping, otherwise it looks like you're eating a $4.49 cost, which still puts the game below its current MSRP.
06:00 PST: The first of the lightning deals is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, an FPS that is much better than it has any right to be. Gold Box deal knocks the price down to $18.99, which is not quite a steal but better than you'll probably find in most stores.

09:00 PST: Lightning Deal #2 is Nintendo's Master of Illusion, price slashed down to an amazing $14.99. It's not relevant to my interests, but at that price. would make an absolutely killer gift for somebody who liked magic tricks. I'm wondering how long it'll last at this price... Call of Duty 4 sold a bit higher and ended its 4 hours with only about 40% of the available stock sold.
12:45 PST: Not exactly sure when it happened (I laid down for a nap), but Master of Illusion has managed to sell out completely. I hope you got a copy if you wanted one.
2:00 PST: Lightning Deal #3 is... Transformers: Autobots. Ehhh. It's better than your average tie-in game, but I'm not sure it's worth it even with the price knocked down to $9.99.
6:00 PST: And we end with Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles for
$14.99. This is another game where it's hard for me to really say that I think it's worth the price even at the discount. If you've been curious, then the next four hours is probably one of the best and cheapest times to snag it.
