For almost two years, there was nothing that lit up the internet faster than the promise of Japan Time, when the Smash Bros. Dojo would update with new information about Brawl. Even after Brawl finally released worldwide, the Dojo still kept updating with plenty of in-depth game info.
Now, everything's explained, every stage and character profiled, and it seems that it's time for the Dojo to shut down. The notice that the site would be going into archival mode was posted April 14th (or, yesterday). I'm pretty bummed out, as the updates provided a lot of fond memories. Remember when Sonic's profile went up? When you first found Snake's codec videos? Watching the initial E3 trailer ad nauseam?
Anyway, when a good friend passes on, it's time for a virtual wake. What was your favorite Dojo feature? Me, I got a huge kick out of the complete sticker and trophy lists that went up recently. I never would've bothered to unlock all this stuff, but seeing lists of who they chose to include (and exclude) from various games was pretty interesting. The final Trivia post is pretty badass, too.

My favorite update has to be the unveiling of the Pokemon Trainer. It was pretty WTF!(in a good way), and gave me a good idea of how awesome the game was gonna be. Right behind it is the unveiling of Olimar, who was my most desired newcomer. After months of crappy updates, seeing the Warning! Challenger Approaching! banner was exciting, and after seeing the flower logo...well, lets just say I couldn't sleep that night.
My favorite Dojo feature was the announcement for the Subspace Emissary. Not only did the mode itself look exciting, it also explained that confusing "This World" post.
