Well, here's another case of Atlus publishing a game that seems targeted at an audience of exactly me, although a game like this could go casual. They're seem to have snatched publishing rights to the super-cute Octomania from Conspiracy Entertainment. Or maybe partnered with them? I have no idea, really. Yes, Conspiracy may be a name that rightfully gives Wii owners heart palpitations (remember Anubis II?), but I'll give Atlus the benefit of the doubt. This game is probably at least decent and could be quite fun.
Wish there was some hands-on coverage of Octomania, though. From the screencaps, it's a little difficult to tell exactly what kind of puzzle game it is. It looks sort of like a hybrid between Puyo Puyo and Bejeweled, but could play a bit more Yoshi's Cookie in practice. Clearly I need to go beg for an advance box copy so I can sate everyone's (read: my) curiosity. Anyway, if you want more info, check behind the cut for the complete press release announcing the title.
