At one point, it seemed obvious that Capcom's Mega Man had to be joining Sonic and Snake as a guest character for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, yet the Blue Bomber was a complete no-show. Why? Well, nobody knows, really. Maybe nobody ever thought to put Mega Man in Brawl (after all, Inafune himself never heard from them). Kotaku has a juicier rumor about the omission of Capcom's characters to report, though...
Several insiders tell us that Nintendo was apparently still upset about GameCube exclusive Resident Evil 4 going multi-platform, and thus, decided not to include Capcom characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl during development.Hmm! Ouch if it's true, pretty baseless speculation if it's not. After all, Capcom's offered the Wii a lot of support in the form of Zack & Wiki, Umbrella Chronicles, and RE4: Wii-- really, a lot of the best third-party titles on the system. Seems pretty lousy of NIntendo to hold a grudge that long when Capcom support for their systems is still ongoing, if that's the real story here.

They may be getting some nice games from Capcom but they also are not getting some nice games. Resident Evil 5 and the Devil May Cry Series are not on Wii. Also didn't the producer of RE5 make a comment that the Wii could not even handle RE5s title screen?
That is 100% correct DJKennethA. That was in response to a rumor going around that RE5 would be coming to Wii in super-neutered form using the RE4 Wii engine, ala Dead Rising.
