The flow of hardcore titles for the Wii is heating up. Tecmo is set to let Suda51's Grasshopper Manufacture bring a new entry in the Fatal Frame series to the Wii, which could be really interesting.
Fatal Frame runs on a mechanic where, while exploring spooky areas and solving mysteries, you take pictures with a camera to ward off ghosts. Wii Remote controls for picture-taking could be really fun and possibly an improvement over prior control systems, which always struck me as a little clunky. No More Heroes, however, has totally crazy-sweet controls that are perfect when you're not doing stupid crap on your bike.
There's no word on when a US release is going to happen (or... when a release is going to happen at all, actually), but this is one game I plan on keeping track of. I'm not a super ninja expert at Fatal Frame or anything, but it's about my favorite of the big survival horror franchises and I'm glad to see it come to Wii.
