Brawl Pushed Back to March, Internet Cracks in Half

As GamePro points out, this isn't even the first Brawl delay. Yet, Masahiro Sakurai still offered fans a heartfelt apology from the Smash Bros. Dojo.

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, weve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

The internet cracked in half anyway. There were bitter photoshops, cries of despair, and sworn promises to import the Japanese version.

CinemaBlend Games sums up this totality of nerd rage.

Honestly, though, I don't know why I bitch because I know I'll still be there the day it comes out. I know nothing's really going to fix this problem... the end product is always worth the wait in the end, that's why we love [Nintendo] so much.
