I've spent a lot of time playing Rock Band on the 360 lately. Hey, I've got three other people to play it with! That's hard for a rhythm game fan to turn down.
Right now, you can only play Rock Band on the 360 or (awkwardly) on the PS3. Would I forsake 360 Rock Band for Wii Rock Band? Certainly... if it existed.
As reported by my corporate masters at GamePro, there are two stories on whether or not this is going to happen. Quoth EA CEO Bruce Baer:
"We have not announced any plans for a Wii version at this time."
This is rather in conflict with statements made by Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulous:
In April 2007, Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos said "absolutely" when asked if there was a possibility of seeing the game on Wii.
"We will, at some time, bring Rock Band to every [important] platform," he said in the conference call. "I think the Wiimote is something that holds enormous promise."
So, basically, it all comes down to whether EA hates money enough not to let Harmonix stick to their guns.

Comments
EA needs to put their monocle over the eye that can actually SEE huge bags of money.
It would seem like these types of games would be more popular with a more casual gamer. As the Wii overtakes the 360 in total overall console install base, and with its more casual gaming demographic, it would seem like the Wii would be the console of choice for a game like this from a publisher's point-of-view. It's not like Rock Band needs advanced graphics processing or anything, and the Wii is already capable of connecting with multiple wireless accessories. The only concern would be with limited storage for downloadable tracks on the console itself.
