Did THQ Try to Port Saints Row to Wii?

Can you imagine a Wii port of Saints Row? Yeah, me neither. Still, some curious evidence has surfaced that suggests that THQ, at one point, may have tried to make such a project a reality. Gone is Gone, a very entertaining gaming blog that focuses on canceled projects, recently posted up a couple of images that would seem to indicate that THQ once thought cramming Saints Row into low-res Wii form would be a good idea.
